TJ West: Video “Beverly Hills Blues”

NOCONA, has a brand spanking new video finished for the song “Beverly Hills Blues” off their forthcoming album (name TBD). The Video was directed by David Schlussel, a writer and director who has previously directed videos for the likes of Madonna and Mandy Moore. NOCONA is an LA-based band is comprised of husband and wife team, Chris and Adrienne Isom, Annie Rothschild (all 3 formerly of the band Paladino) and Justin Smith (Old Californio, The Seeds). A music veteran, front-man, Chris Isom spent time playing in NYC Anti-Folk/Art-Punk bands Mooney Suzuki and The Adam Green Band which adds to NOCONA’S diverse sound, incorporating punk and underground into their Country-Rock . The name NOCONA, is a nod to Chris Isom’s Texas roots as Nocona, TX is the area his Mom’s family lived.

After playing, Bonnaroo Festival, Stagecoach Festival and 14 dates at SXSW the band just announced they will be playing Outside Lands Festival in 2014.
