In 1995, Pam Tillis, Wanda Jackson, Iris Dement and Rosie Flores played “Live at The Ryman,” a show that included an all female line up and band. As part of TJ’s Wanda Week, we continue the tradition and bring you Women for Wanda, a tribute to the Queen of Rockabilly, spotlighting female artists from around the country. These talented ladies (and the talented men by their sides) took the time to contribute covers of their favorite Wanda Jackson songs, as we continue to celebrate the life and influence of a true icon, who paved the way for female performers everywhere.
