Ryan Adams and the Cardinals: Class Mythology

This EP (which was released for Record Store day) is a collection of outtakes from 2008’s Cardinology.  The EP starts out with two tracks that make it pretty obvious why they were outtakes. They should have remained so.
“Go Ahead and Rain” and “Invisible Red” are mediocre at best.  And I can’t figure out why Adams is singing with a strange vibrato. He’s gone up in pitch and added wobble. This decision confuses me…. he should stick to his normal singing voice.
“Your Name is On Fire” and “Future Sparrow” are decent tracks, though with the exception of his voice, they sound very much like the Grateful Dead.
