CRAZIEST ROAD MEMORY: You said I could be honest, so I guess it would have to be when I was on tour last year and got the call that my mom had suddenly passed away. I drove straight home to So Cal from Seattle for the funeral. Sorry if this is too dark.

Sam Outlaw is a country singer living in Los Angeles. No, Willie and Waylon didn’t have a little “Outlaw baby,” he was born in South Dakota and ‘Outlaw’ is his mother’s maiden name. Sam writes original songs in the folk country vein with an acoustic guitar and pedal steel sound. Gram and Ryan Adams come to mind to mind but his influences reach to George Jones, Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Gene Watson, Keith Whitley, etc. His self titled EP is available now!
