TJ Premiere: Uni(ONE)-Verse(SONG) Jaime Wyatt “Come Home For December”

Peak behind the scenes as Jaime Wyatt and producer Mark Howard, record the song “Come Home For December,” for her upcoming album, in the next installment of the docu-series Uni(ONE)-Verse(SONG).

Jaime Wyatt has had an up and down few years, from leaving the band CALICO to striking gold with her song “Beautiful Lie,” penned with Pete Droge and Elaine Summers, that was featured on ABC’s hit TV show Nashville. Wyatt has found clarity in her second solo album, This is Jaime Wyatt, which lays bare the true stories of her outlaw past, including the songs “Stone Hotel” and “Marijuana Man.”

Her repertoire tells stories of heartbreak and redemption, delivered by a rich and magnetic voice. Comparisons are frequently drawn to Chrissie Hynde, Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty delivering vintage 60’s and 70’s rock n roll anthems and heartfelt ballads of love and confusion.

Mark Howard is a veteran record producer and engineer, who has worked with many artists including Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams, Willie Nelson, Marianne Faithfull, Emmylou Harris, U2, Peter Gabriel, R.E.M., Neil Young, and The Neville Brothers.

Uni(ONE)-Verse(SONG) is the music video series by film maker Douglas Busby, whose vast experience in film and television has spanned almost two decades. “I had the idea years ago. The creative process has always been an obsession of mine. I started thinking about going back in time and sitting in the studio with Paul & John, or Keith & Mick and watching (Pick a song) come into the world. That’s what I’m doing, creating a sonic time capsule, that starts immediately with a release of an album. It’ll get better with age,” said Busby. Other Uni(ONE)-Verse(SONG) artists include Brian Wright, Brother Sal, The Young Dubliners and more.
